A raided brig left behind one iron chest, one torn chart, and one impossible lock. The quartermaster swore the chest only opens when the true 32-rune course is spoken aloud. The crew tried brute force. The crew tried patching. The crew fed the binary to parrots, prophets, and pattern-matching machines. The sea took them all the same.
